A Poignant Tribute To Whitney Houston

Accompanied by a full band, Ridley and Irish will belt out Houston’s most beloved tunes, from the pop diva.

As A Child Whitney Houston began singing in church. At the early age of nineteen she became a signed artist with Arista Records, and the president of Arista Records had such confidence in the young singer that he spent some time teaching her the art of becoming a Pop Star. His work paid off, Whitney’s unmistakable talent and beauty sparkled through the murk of the music industry and in 1985 her debut album produced 3 number one singles in the United States: “Greatest Love of All,” which became her signature; “Saving All My Love for You”; and “How Will I Know.” Two years later, her second album Whitney (1987) delivered four more number ones and earned Houston a Grammy Award (for the smash single “I Wanna Dance with Somebody”).

In 1992 she starred with Kevin Costner in her motion picture debut of “The Bodyguard” and critics were impressed. The films soundtrack featured a revered rendition of Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You.” Her version of the song remained at number one for 14 weeks. The song brought Ms Houston many awards and accalaides.

The Whitney Houston Tribute, I Will Always Love You is performed out of love for the singers incredible talent and beautifull and thrilling music. So much of the headlines have focused on the artists turbulent life and passing, I Will Always Love You is a celebration (with incredibly talented voices) to cut through the hard headlines.
